RICHARD H. MURPHY, JR., concentrates his practice in real estate law, including commercial lending and land use planning, and in environmental law and business law. He represents banks and other lenders in real estate lending transactions, both residential and commercial. He also represents real estate developers, family businesses, family farms and individuals in connection with commercial and residential projects, and general business law matters. Mr. Murphy is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, and is a cum laude graduate of the New England School of Law where he served on the New England Law Review and authored "Boston Waterfront Development Corp. v. Commonwealth: Title to Land Seaward of the Historic Low-Water Line", 16 New England Law Review 109. He is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the Massachusetts Conveyancers Association, the Winchester Chamber of Commerce and the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
